January's Roundtable will be held at Christ UMC on Thursday, January 10th at 7:00 p.m. The Main meeting will be in Rejoice Hall and we have Foster Hall and Room 301 for the Boy Scout and Venturing breakouts

2008 Miami Valley Council Recognition Dinner
Unit Leaders, Committee Chairpersons & Scouters,
The annual Council Recognition Dinner is being held on Saturday, January 28, 5:10 pm at the Celebration Banquet Center on Stop 8 Road. We have two of our Wright Brothers Scouters who will be receiving their Silver Beaver awards. Come join us in recognizing their contributions to Scouting.

2008 Wright Brothers District Awards Nominations
Unit Leaders, Committee Chairpersons & Scouters,
It is time to sharpen those pencils and record the great things your
volunteer leaders have been doing for your Units! District Awards Nominations are due on February 1st. District Award
of Merit, Silver Cycle, Couples, Unit Leader, Newcomer Awards, and Religious awards. If you need additional information
about the nomination awards, you can get answers at the roundtable. There should be some forms available at the roundtable
meeting and I have also attached some older copies that can be used. (These are also available on the WB
District Website. Nominations should be returned to the Wright Brothers District Committee through the
Council Service Center and Marilyn Miller by February 1st. See address on back of WBD Awards nomination form.

2008 Wright Brother's District Camporee
The 2008 District Camporee is scheduled for May 9-11 at Woodland
Trails. The theme is "Quest of Four Eagles Lagoon". See the attached
